Interpretive Building is open:
Monday - Saturday 9 am to 5 pm
Sunday - 12:30 pm to 5 pm

BNC Interpretive Building will be closed to the Holiday, Thrusday and Friday, November 27 & 28th.

Sunday Only Fee for Non-Members
$1.00 per adult
.25 per child
$2.00 per family

Brukner Nature Center is a privately-funded non-profit nature preserve dedicated to environmental education and wildlife rehabilitation.

Fridays and Saturdays, October 31-November 1, 6:30 to 8:30 PM.

Come and enjoy a kid-friendly evening filled with guided walks, live animals and costumed characters! Activities include face painting, crafts, games and stargazing. Cookies and cider will be available following the hike. This program is only $3 per person for BNC members and $5 per person for nonmembers. Please be sure to have your membership card ready. Tickets are available on a first-come-first-served basis, with the gates opening at 6 PM. Parking space is limited so carpooling is advised. Come enjoy this fantastic fall event!

Fall PEEP II Session begins October 28!

Keep your preschooler active this fall by allowing outdoor exploration with BNC's Preschool Environmental Education Program (PEEP)! This program introduces your child to a variety of nature themes through hikes, storytelling and crafts. Registration for the second fall season begins Sunday, September 28th and will run the week of October 28th through November 9th. This unique program is offered Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:30 - 11:30 AM with an additional Friday afternoon class from 12:30 - 2:30 PM. sessions run for six weeks with a different nature related topic each week. Topics for this session are: Bats; Leaves, Leaves; Gone Nutty; Turkey Talk; Sleepy Time; Pioneer Toys and Games. This class is for 3 to 5-year-olds. The fee is $45 for BMC members and $60 for nonmembers. All fees are due upon registration (we accept cash or check only) here it class size is limited to 12 so be sure to sign up early! *There will be a break for all classes the week of Thanksgiving.
