Interns are responsible for participating in all aspects of the center, with an emphasis on animal care and education. Our internship is designed to foster and encourage individual growth, and instill skills in education, wildlife, land stewardship, and non-profit administration.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Background in natural history or animal husbandry, previous experience working with wildlife, planning educational programs, and guiding interpretive hikes is desirable.

DUTIES:

TIME & SCHEDULE: The internships may be scheduled for a minimum of one quarter or 3 months.  Longer terms, 6 - 9 months are preferable.

STIPEND: Housing and a $165.00 per two week food stipend is provided for full-time interns.  Part-time internships are also available and pay $2.07 per hour.  College credit is possible by special arrangement.
