On-Site Programs

Brukner Nature Center is a 165 acre nature preserve that serves as a wonderful resource for hands-on experiential education. The nature preserve hosts the Iddings Log House, the oldest standing structure on its original site in Miami county, over 40 Wildlife Ambassadors, sucs as a bobcat, bald eagle, and even mudpuppies, and a variety of habitats including prairie, woodlands, wetlands, a pond, and the Stillwater River. Discovery is unavoidable here at Brukner, making it a perfect place to bring your class on a field trip. We feel our grounds offer the ideal outdoor classroom for students learning about Ohio's wildlife and natural history. We have developed a number of programs to choose from and have had over 25 years of success with our educational curriculum. We are also able to create a program for your class if you have a specific topic you would like covered. A staff member can work with you to establish the perfect program for your class.
