Summer Night Hike

  • Brukner Nature Center 5995 Horseshoe Bend Road Troy, OH, 45373 United States (map)

Friday, August 15, 7:00pm – 8:30pm

Bats are one of the most misunderstood night-flying creatures. Even though they are rarely seen, Ohio is home to 13 different species of bats that surprisingly help us. From eating pests that destroy crops to devouring disease-carrying mosquitoes, these amazing creatures are beneficial to have around! Join us on Friday, August 15 as we hike in search for bats and record their unique sounds. We will also discuss common bat myths while meeting a real live bat!

Deadline to register is Wednesday, August 13 by 5:00pm. Maximum of 20.
