Night Hike - Registration required

  • Brukner Nature Center 5995 Horseshoe Bend Road Troy, OH, 45373 United States (map)

Join us as we hike and discuss “Ohio Critter Winter Preparations”!

With colder temperatures and winter weather on the horizon most of our local creatures have worked hard to prepare for the difficulties of the months ahead.  Much like people animals have different ways to survive the winter!  Some will tuck away and hide from the cold like a toad, some will stock up on food so they don’t have to go out when it’s cold like a squirrel, while others will avoid the cold altogether and head south like a hummingbird.  Join us as we search and listen for these critters and more including trying to get owls to talk to us as the night settles in!

Dress for the weather as we will be spending all of our time outside.  Children 16 years-old and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

Call 937-698-6493 or email info@bruknernaturecenter.com to register.  Deadline to register is Wednesday, November 12 by 5:00pm.

Cost is only $5/person for BNC Members and $7/person for nonmembers.  Payment is non-refundable if you are unable to attend.  Limited to 20 people.
